Seats, keys, refunds, and the fine print
How do seats work?
One seat is one developer using Diffsift. Team licenses start at two seats and you can add seats at any time at the same per-seat price. Seats are not tied to machines — a developer can use their seat on a desktop and a laptop.
How does offline activation work?
Keys are cryptographically signed and verified on your machine — Diffsift never phones home. Paste the key once and you are done. Air-gapped networks work fine; there is no activation server to reach.
Can I transfer a license?
Yes. Personal licenses move with you between machines. Team seats can be reassigned when someone leaves the team — no need to buy again.
What is the refund policy?
Fourteen days, no questions asked. Between the refund window and the 14-day full-featured trial, you should never be stuck with a purchase you regret.
Do you provide invoices and handle VAT?
Yes. Team purchases get a proper invoice with VAT handled by our payment provider as merchant of record. Purchase orders are supported for team licenses — email us.
What happens when my update year ends?
Nothing breaks. Your version keeps working forever — the license is perpetual for every release shipped during your update window. You stop receiving new releases until you optionally renew: 50% of the original price ($29 personal / $59 per team seat) for another 12 months of updates.
