Privacy — Diffsift

The short version

This site collects almost nothing. The Diffsift app collects nothing at all.

Analytics. We use Plausible, a privacy-respecting analytics service. It is cookieless, collects only aggregate page-view data, and cannot identify you. No cookies are set before — or after — any action you take on this site.
Email. If you submit your email address, it is stored with our email provider (Buttondown) and used only to send you launch news and release notes. Signup is double opt-in — nothing is sent until you confirm — and every email includes an unsubscribe link that works immediately. We never sell or share the list.
Nothing else. No tracking pixels, no ad networks, no fingerprinting.

Diffsift has no account system and no telemetry. It sends us nothing — no usage data, no crash reports, no code.
Your source code goes only where you point it: to the model endpoint you configure. With a local provider (LM Studio, Ollama, or your own server), it never leaves your machine or network. If you configure an external provider, Diffsift warns you and asks for explicit confirmation before every run.
Personal access tokens and API keys are stored on your machine, encrypted with Windows DPAPI.
License keys are verified locally. Diffsift never phones home — there is no activation server.
